The Toulourenc Gorges

The Toulourenc is famous for its clear, cool waters and magnificent gorges. Ideal for a walk with your feet in the water! Beware, however, that the water flow may reach the pool at some points during the hike.

Gard bridge: Nimes

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985, the Pont du Gard is an impressive Roman aqueduct bridge, used to transport water from the region's springs to the city of Nimes. Visit the museum, take a guided tour or hire canoes for a day out.

Grignan

Just a 10-minute drive from the campsite, come and visit Grignan and its château, and discover this village in the footsteps of Madame de Sévigné.

Ardèche gorges

Stretching over a distance of around 30km, the Ardèche gorges are famous for their limestone cliffs, which rise up to 300 meters in places, forming a deep, winding canyon. Numerous canoe rental companies offer visitors the chance to spend a pleasant day between sport and swimming! The gorge is also lined with hiking trails.

Avignon

A historic city known for its remarkable cultural heritage, in particular the Palais des Papes, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1995. The latter is an imposing medieval edifice that was the residence of the popes in the 14th century. Avignon is also famous for its famous bridge and its annual theater festival.

Isle sur la sorgue

Isle sur la Sorgue is nicknamed "La venise comtadine" (the Comtadine Venice) because of the many canals that run through the town. It is famous for its antique market. Not far from here you'll find the Vaucluse Fountain, a spectacular natural site. This is the birthplace of the Sorgue river. Its waters emerge from a mysterious cave, and the flow of water can vary according to the season.

Crocodile farm: Pierrelatte

The park covers almost 8,000m2 and offers visitors the chance to get up close and personal with these fascinating reptiles in an environment adapted to their needs. Other reptiles include snakes, turtles, lizards, tropical birds and exotic fish. The park also offers crocodile feeding shows and educational activities for the whole family.
